Husband Plans For Second Marriage; Wife Stages Protest

Parkal: A woman staged a protest in front of her husband's house in Parkal town, Warangal on Saturday after coming to know his plans of second marriage. The police intervened into the situation and took her to the Parkal police station where she was counselled.

According to the victim, Haseena, who is a private college operator, was relentlessly pursued by Rayabarapu Nitish, a private consultant in Secunderabad.

Haseena, being a divorcee initially rejected Nitish but eventually agreed to marry him and the couple tied the knot four years ago.

However, the couple's marriage took a hit when Nitish attempted to sell their daughter as he didn't want kids. Haseena even filed a complaint in this regard on November 23, 2018.

Stating that he is getting ready for another marriage under his parents' pressure, she demanded justice for herself and her daughter following which she took up a protest in front of Nitish's house in Mallareddy colony.

Nitish's father, meanwhile complained to the police regarding her staging a protest in front of their house. While the police took her into custody, they advised Haseena to approach the issue via law in order to get justice.

Haseena further said that Nitish's parents even offered her Rs 2 lakh to stay away from their son. Stating that they got rid of the marriage evidence, Haseena provided the police with photographs of her and Nitish.
