Pushed Into Prostitution by Her Own Relatives

Nagole: The Chaitanyapuri police arrested a couple and six members involved in a prostitution racket. LB Nagar DCP Sanpreet Singh revealed the details regarding the case. The accused, Yarlagadda Chanti and his wife Padma live in NTR nagar. Chanti works in Amazon as a driver, he got close to a girl, a distant relative of his with sweet talk. Later, the couple handed over the girl to a brothel house on December 9 at Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar district.

The victim's grandmother who worried about the girl filed a missing complaint with Chaitanyapuri police station. The police filed a case and traced the girl who was at Jadcherla. When the police took the couple into custody and interrogated, they confessed to the crime. They said that they had did it to earn some easy money. The police also arrested the gang Fareeda Begum, Krishna Veni, Swaroopa, Padma, Manjula and Radha and sent them to remand. The police filed relevant cases along with rape case against Chanti. The DCP appreciated the Chaitanyapuri police for rescuing the girl in a short span of time.

Apart from that, the Hyderabad police busted a rave party at a well-known resort in Shamirpet. According to police officials, seven doctors have been taken into custody. There are four others, who were also taken into custody by Balanagar police. It is also learnt that other doctors who were being questioned belong to Mumbai, while one is from Hyderabad. A probe is on to ascertain more details. It is said that the seven doctors who were arrested are from Gajwel constituency.

It is learnt that on a tip off, the Balanagar SOT raided the resort in the late hours of Friday. Two girls were rescued in the raid, it is learned.

With new year parties around the corner, police have stepped up security measures and intensified vigilance on drug peddlers and other anti-social activities. However, every year many people have been arrested in Hyderabad for driving drunk on New Year's Eve.
