Depressed Over Losing Cellphone, Girl Commits Suicide 

Mysoor: Depressed over losing her cell phone, A 10th class girl committed suicide. The incident took place on Thursday at Mysuru, Karnataka. The deceased Nikhita (16) was in her 10th class in a private school at Gayatripuram.

On Wednesday after a conversation with her brother Babloo, she found her mobile missing. Since the phone was gifted by her beloved father, she felt depressed losing it and committed suicide by hanging herself when she was alone at the house. The police filed a case and started probing the matter.

Recently, in a similar incident at Yashvanthapura, Depressed over hair loss, a girl committed suicide. Neha Gangamma (18) from Kottigeri, Virajapeta was pursuing BBA. She wanted her hair to be curly and went in for treatment at a beauty parlour.

However, the hair treatment failed and led to heavy hair loss. Within six months, she lost all the hair and went bald. She felt embarrassed to attend college and dropped out.

She left home one week back and her dead body was found at Lakshmana Teertha. The police suspect that she committed suicide due to her hair loss. They have filed a case of unnatural death and started probing the matter.
