Medak: Mohammed Amjad (50) was brutally killed by a gang on Saturday under Milardevpalli police station limits. According to the police, the deceased from Sastripuram runs a wooden door business. On Saturday evening, three people came to the wood shop in an auto and thrashed Amjad with a hammer. They immediately left in the same auto after killing Amjad. He died on his way to the hospital.

Amjad has three sons two of whom Mohsin and Asin are known to get into fights. The police suspect that Amjad was murdered by the enemies of his sons. The body was shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem and the police filed a case.

A hunt is on to nab the criminals who are absconding. ACP Ashok Kumar and Clues team reached the spot and collected the details. The accused will be soon arrested with the help of CC cameras, said the police.

Similarly, some time ago, a businessman, Khalid Malik (33) was brutally murdered in the early hours of Wednesday at Hyderguda, pillar no 143 near Rajendra Nagar police station limits.

According to the police, Khalid Malik had returned from UK 4 years ago and runs a water purifier plant. It is learnt that Malik had loaned an amount of Rs. 5 lakhs to Dastagir Khan and Khaja. When he demanded the money back, the accused are alleged to have hatched a plan to eliminate him.

The autopsy of the victim will be conducted at the Osmania General Hospital. The police have registered a case of murder against the accused and began the investigation.
