Police Verifying ‘Dark Room’ Molestation In School Complaint

Hyderabad: One more sexual case at Azaan Internatonal School in Toli Chowki has come to light under Golconda Police Station in the city. The father of a girl, a techie, lodged a complaint with the Golconda Police Station authorities who have launched an investigation into the incident. The victim is said to be six years old and a student of Class 1.

According to a report in the Urdu daily Etemaad, an unknown miscreant took the girl inside a dark room in the school and attempted to molest her after blind-folding her. Fortunately for the child, the act was interrupted by the sudden entry of a group of students into the dark room. The accused is said to have threatened the child saying he would slit her throat if she revealed about it to anyone before getting go of her. She also told a lady constable of the Golconda police station that he slapped her which terrorized her as well as her classmates who had just come in. The girl added that there was a lady employee in the dark room who argued with the accused in support of the girls. The incident which came to light now, is reported to have taken place on September 14 according to the victim. The victim was later sent to Niloufer Hospital for medical examination.

However, in a latest update, the Golconda police are said to be verifying this complaint thoroughly. The police are investigating the matter and will update accordingly.
