Hyderabad Woman Spoils Husband’s Fourth Marriage Plan

Hyderabad: After learning that her husband was preparing to get married for the fourth time, one of his wives staged a protest before her mother-in-law's house at Bhagya Nagar Colony in Lingojiguda here on Sunday. According to a police complaint filed by the woman, Anusha, a resident of Kamareddy, had been staying away from her husband, Srinivas, an Irrigation department employee, after they parted ways two years post marriage in May 2014. Recently, Srinivas sent out divorce notice to Anusha. That's when she realised that he had plans to get married to another woman.

After their marriage in 2014, Anusha was harassed by her husband on a daily basis, after she discovered that he had been married to other women in the past. On Sunday, Anusha approached Saroor Nagar Women's police station and lodged a complaint over Srinivas's decision to marry for the fourth time.
