Suspecting Fidelity, Man Kills Wife

Hyderabad: A 26 year old man throttled his wife to death at their residence in Subhanpura of Habeebnagar on Monday.

According to police, the victim has been distinguished as Shareefa Begum (22), while the suspected culprit husband has been identified as Md Imran. Both belong to Habeebnagar.

"The suspect killed his wife as he had a doubt over her character. It is said that Shareefa Begum used to converse with people for long hours via telephone. Irritated over her phone conversations as well as doubting that she might have had affair with someone, Imran strangulated his wife," said the police.

The suspect has been arrested and police have shifted the body of the victim to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem. The police are investigating the case.
