Class 10 Girls Jump Off Building, Die

Hyderabad: Two girls, who are studying Class 10 in an international school jumped from the eight floor of the apartment on Thursday in LB Nagar.

According to police, Sravani Khale, a resident of Chitra Layout in LB Nagar is studying Class 10 in Akshara International School. Sravani's father Narender Khale is working as a scientist at Kanchanbagh DRDA. Sravani has gone to her friend Bhargavi's home at TNR Apartments in Bahadurpura to prepare for the ongoing final examinations.

Sravani and Bhargavi were close friends and the duo are from the same school. The girls spent few hours at the latter's home to prepare for the English exam. After sometime, they walked out the building and jumped together around 6.30 pm. Both the girls died on the spot. The incident took place when the parents of the girls were out to get vegetables.

Locals alerted the police and the bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained.
