Chandrababu-Lokesh’s Innovative Ways To Rob The State

YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh have devised innovative methods to plunder the state. Talking to media here today, the MLA said that establishment of Anna Canteens was one such innovative method adopted by them.

RK said that Chandrababu made 630 promises during the 2014 elections and establishment of Anna Canteens was one among them. He expressed his surprise over the announcement by TDP government to establish Anna Canteens when they didn't bother to even think of fulfilling any of the other promises made by the ruling party. He said the canteens were being established because of the elections to be held next year. Though it is called Anna Canteen in memory of NTR, people refer to it as Alludi Canteen (Chandrababu Canteen). He accused the father-son duo of being involved in highest level of corruption in the name of these canteens.

The YSRCP MLA said that government had allocated Rs 400 crores for Anna Canteens. "They had called for establishment of 163 canteens at a cost of Rs 59 crores. This means that they were spending Rs 36 lakhs on each canteen. This boils down to Rs 5000 per square feet is the cost of the canteen. Chandrababu and his son Lokesh were not even sparing the poor man's food and were making money out of it as well," he accused.

RK warned the TDP that YSRCP will not excuse this corrupt government. He called upon the TDP leaders to take inspiration from late Dr YS Rajashekara Reddy's rule to do good for the people. "If you don't, people will forget your party permanently," he asserted. He had been waiting for a canteen in state's capital over the last four years. Since it did not happen, he had established Rajanna canteen, he informed.

He expressed his surprise over the statement by Chandrababu that 38,000 families would come to Amaravati when the CM had not yet come there. The Central government turned into enemy for TDP when they questioned funds usage, he said and added that it was silly on part of the CM to ask people to provide security. RK questioned Chandrababu's u-turn attitude and pointed out that in the eyes of the ruling party, the Governor was a good person as long as he was in favour of TDP.
