The character of Kattappa used ‘Katika Cheekati’ in one scene and this has hurt our community by using our caste name

The Aare Katika community said that objectionable language has been used against their community in the film. The members were lead by G. Sudhkar, president of Aare Katika Porata Samiti.

"The character of Kattappa used 'Katika Cheekati' in one scene and this has hurt our community by using our caste name," said Sudhkar, adding they will watch morning show on Monday and if the scenes are not deleted they would stage protest at Rajamouli's office.

Banjara Hills inspector K. Srinivas has forward the complaint for a legal opinion and would take action after getting reports.
