BSP unit chief offers 50 lakh rupees for Dayashankar’s tongue

BSP’s Chandigarh unit chief Jannat Jahan - Sakshi Post

Chandigarh: BSP supporters are evidently not satisfied with the BJP suspending their UP vice president Dayashankar Singh for his controversial statements on Mayawati. If the BSP’s Chandigarh unit chief’s words are anything to go by, it seems that Mayawati’s supporters are out to draw blood.

A suspension from the party for six years and a volley of apologies from various BJP leaders followed Dayashankar’s derogatory ‘prostitute’ remark on BSP chief Mayawati. This was quickly followed by registering a FIR against Dayashankar Singh under sections 153A,504,509 IPC and 310 of the SC/ST act.

Even as the public outcry over the issue refused to abate, Jannat Jahan, the unit chief of BSP from Chandigarh made a sensational offer to reward Fifty Lakh rupees to anyone who brought her the tongue of Dayashakar’s tongue.

Dayashankar had compared BSP supremo to a prostitute saying, “Even a prostitute fulfils her commitment after she is paid. But Mayawati sells party tickets to anyone who paid her the highest amount. If someone gives her Rs 1 cr for a ticket she will give it to other person who is offering Rs 2 cr. Mayawati has become worse than a prostitute and abandons the ideals of Kanshi Ram.”

The uncharitable remark was condemned by leaders across political parties, even as the BJP acted swiftly to show the exit to their UP vice president.
