1. '83

Directed by Kabir Khan this film is a biopic of veteran cricketer Kapil Dev played by Ranveer Singh and his real-life wife Deepika will be playing the role of his wife in the movie as well. The film is based on the incredible cricket world cup win in 1983. The movie is anticipated to release on April 10, 2020.

2.Chhapaak

It is an upcoming Bollywood biopic based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. It stars Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey. The film is directed by Deepika Padukone and produced by Deepika and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios.

3. Gunjan Saxena- The Kargil Girl

Directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar under the banner Dharma productions, this is an upcoming Hindi biographical drama. This biopic is based on the life of Gunjan Saxena, first female Indian Air Force pilot and first Indian woman airforce pilot in combat. It stars Jahnvi Kapoor in the lead role, Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi. The film is announced to release on 13 March 2020.

4. Shershaah

It is an upcoming Bollywood biopic based on the story of Captain Vikram Batra, an officer in the Indian Army. The movies feature Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles. Directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma productions, this movie is set to release in 2020.

5. Biopic on Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw

In his next, Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the role of Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. The shooting of the movie will begin in 2021 and will be directed by Meghna Gulzar.

6. Ma Anand Sheela biopic

This will be a Bollywood biopic in which Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra will be portraying Ma Anand Sheela, whose popularity grew after Netflix documentary series Wild Wild Country had released. This movie is in its pre-production stage and will be directed by American director Barry Levinson.

7. PV Sindhu Biopic

This project will be produced by Sonu Sood in which Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of 24-year-old badminton player, PV Sindhu. 8. Saina Nehwal biopic

This biopic is based on the life story of ace badminton player, Saina Nehwal. Earlier it was anticipated that Shraddha Kapoor will be portraying Saina Nehwal but later she was replaced by Parineeti Chopra. This movie is under works.

9.Mithali Raj Biopic

10. PT Usha Biopic

Rumors are out that this biopic based on the life story of PT Usha will be made in English and will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Chinese and Russian. PT Usha is also called the queen of Indian track and field. Katrina Kaif is expected to portray her in this biopic.
