Baahubali Frenzy Leads To Fight Between Fans Of Megastar And Prabhas
With Baahubali frenzy gripping people of both the Telugu states, fan rivalry came to the fore in some areas on Friday. Tensions prevailed in Amalapuram town in East Godavari district when a scuffle between fans of megastar and Prabhas led to a fight.
It all started when Tollywood hero fans and association gathered at the movie theaters in the town alleging that Baahubali-2 The Conclusion is being screened by violating rules. They alleged that the organisers are hiking ticket prices.
They were immediately stopped by the police personnel. Subsequently, the fans of Tollywood heroes conducted a bike rally and staged a dharna at DSP and RDO office in Amalapuram. They alleged that organisers got permission from the state-level police higher ups to screen the Baahubali show on Thursday by charging high price on tickets.
Similar situations are prevailing in almost every district in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is learnt that Baahubali pre-release business has clocked a whopping Rs 500 crore.
