Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh-Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan has undergone a surgery at Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad on Monday. It may be recalled that the Governor had been suffering from ailment related to foot. The doctors led by Deputy Superintendent Narsimha Rao performed 25 minutes surgery and successfully removed the corn in the feet. The Governor was immediately discharged within half an hour. Later, he was shifted to Raj Bhavan.

On August 23, the Governor had visited Gandhi hospital as an inpatient and underwent medical check ups. The doctors noticed a corne in his foot and suggested the Governor to undergo minor surgery. The very next day, the Governor visited the hospital and gave his blood samples.

On Monday, the doctors performed the surgery at 12.15 pm. Following the surgery, the Governor expressed satisfaction over the medical aid given to him at the state-run Gandhi hospital. The Governor has high praise for the team of doctors. He was advised to take 10 days of bed rest following the surgery.
