AP sizzles at 44 degrees

Coastal Andhra and Telangana recorded highest temperatures  of 44 degree Celsius on Thursday in the State, while 43 degrees were recorded in Rayalaseema.

Ramagundam, Nizamabad, Medak, Adilabad and Rentachintala in Guntur district recorded 44 degrees Celsius. About 43 degrees were recorded at Tirupati, Kadapa, Nalgonda, Hanmakonda and Guntur. Kurnool, Anantapur, Mahaboobnagar and Hyderabad recorded 42 degrees, while Nandigama in Krishna district, Nellore and Hakimpet in Rajahmundry recorded 41 degrees. Arogyavaram, Bhadrachalam and Kavali in Nellore district recorded 40 degrees each.
