AP Congress Issues Ultimatum To Chandrababu On Durga Temple Flyover Completion

Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Saturday, issued an ultimatum to chief minister Chandrababu Naidu to complete the Durga temple flyover works before March or face protests by the people.

Speaking at a press meet, APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy said the flyover works were hanging fire for several years and the state government is not taking steps for its speedy completion. Strongly criticising the CM, he said on an earlier occasion, the temple deity's crown went missing while recently, there were reports of tantrik rituals at the temple. "There is no progress in investigating these two incidents and now the state government has washed its hands off the flyover project," Raghuveera Reddy said.

"The TDP delayed the Teluguthalli statue in Hyderabad for eight long years. It was the Congress government that completed the project," he reminded mediapersons on the occasion. The present TDP government is busy striking corrupt deals and land encroachments and it does not have the time for developmental activities, the APCC chief said and accused the TDP MPs, MLAs and MLCs of being involved in scams.
