Angry TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Offers To Resign, Lokesh Pacifies

TDP MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi created quite a scene in the AP Assembly lobbies on Wednesday when he tried to submit his resignation from the Assembly. Vallabhaneni, who represents Gannavaram constituency in Krishna district, was upset when the CMO officials prevented him from meeting the Chief Minister on the issue of shifting of Delta Sugars factory from Hanuman Junction to Tanuku.
When Vamsi and a group of sugarcane farmers tried to meet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the issue, a few CMO officials said the CM was busy and that he could talk to them if he wanted. Vamsi felt insulted, immediately drafted a resignation letter and tried to go into the Speaker's chamber. Seeing this, another TDP MLA Bode Prasad snatched away the letter and tore it. On coming to know about Vamsi's decision to resign, Minister Nara Lokesh rushed in and tried to pacity the MLA.
