TDP’s Ganta Extends His Support To AP CM’s Three Capital Proposal - Sakshi Post

AMARAVATI: Even though opposition leader and Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu disagreed with the concept of decentralisation of power in Andhra Pradesh, TDP leader Ganta Srinivasa Rao has supported the plan proposed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The TDP leader said that as a resident of Visakhapatnam he is welcoming the move of executive capital in Visakhapatnam.

He added that Visakhapatnam is the fastest growing city in the country and it has the full potential and adequate infrastructure facilitates which are required for making it as executive capital.

Ganta opined that all parts of the state will be equally developed if the state government follows the recommendations of the GN Rao Committee and that all districts will prosper only through decentralization.

He requested the state government to further increase the infrastructure and other facilities required for making Visakhapatnam as executive capital while urging the state government to do justice to Amaravati farmers.
