YS Jagan Calls Off Interview Process In APPSC Recruitment - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken a historic decision to put an end to the interview process from January 2020 for selection of candidates and to directly offer jobs to the people who are in the top of the written exams basing on their merit.

AP CM held a review meeting with Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Officers, on Thursday, October 17 and reviewed the APPSC job calendar. YS Jagan instructed to create a calendar on job replacements.

The AP CM also ordered the officers to complete the recruitment process in a fair and transparent manner and added that the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) should always be included in every exam conducted by the APPSC.

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president suggested the APPSC officers be more careful to avoid any legal cases against them over notification released for the job recruitment process.

Speaking after the review meeting with AP CM, APPSC secretary Seetharamanjaneyulu said that CM YS Jagan has taken a key decision to increase transparency in the recruitment process, and APPSC is preparing to issue a notification for new appointments in January, on the assurance of the Chief Minister YS Jagan.
