Estranged From Husband, Woman Found Floating In A Pond At Marlapalem  

Gannavaram: A body of a woman was found floating in a pond at Marlapalem in Gannavaram Mandal of Krishna district on Sunday.  The woman has been identified as Pushpalatha. A death investigation is underway.

Police found a handbag and scooty at the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
According to police, Pushpalatha married Anil Kumar of Eluru eight years ago.
They developed differences and she got separated from her husband. Pushpalatha had been living at her mother's house and working for a private company. It is said that she told her mother that she will meet her friend and left home in the evening.
Later she was found dead. Police are probing the incident.
