AP CM Stops Motorcade To Save This Man’s Life

AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extends a helping hand to a hapless cancer patient - Sakshi Post

Vishakapatnam: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s once again showed his humane side on Tuesday. Instead of whizzing past the scores of onlookers gathered in the way of his cavalcade like many other leaders, YS Jagan got down from his car to extend a helping hand to a hapless cancer patient.

As he was returning from his visit to Sharadha Peetam in Vishakapatnam, a young man and a woman held up a placard which read “please save our friend who is suffering from blood cancer”. YS Jagan who noticed it quickly alerted his officials to stop the motorcade. He alighted from the car and went to the young man and woman and gave a patient hearing.

They told YS Jagan that their friend Neeraj Kumar required a surgery to be done by end of this month and it would cost them Rs 25 lakh. He immediately directed District Collector Katamaneni Bhaskar to make arrangements for the same at the earliest and ensure that all needs of the patient were taken care of. The young man and woman were extremely jubilant by the Chief Minister’s magnanimous gesture and thanked him profusely.
