1. Second Phase Voting Underway In Telangana

The second phase of polling for Zilla and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies elections is underway in the state of Telangana today. The elections which started at 7 AM will continue until 5 PM, while in Left Wing Extremism affected areas, the polling started at 7 AM and concludes at 4 PM.

2. Ravi Prakash Appears On Channel

Hours after a forgery case was booked against TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash, he appeared on the channel on Thursday evening and denied allegations against him and dubbed the charges as false. As per latest report, the TV channel has reportedly sacked him.

Customs officials at Hyderabad airport seized around 3 kilos of gold from two passengers which were kept hidden inside their pants. The two offenders were travelling in an IndiGo flight from Dubai to Hyderabad, carrying gold worth more than Rs 1 crore.
