Janasena MLA Rapaka Varaprasad In Trouble
West Godavari: In a clear case of political high-handedness, the followers of an MLA tried to take law into their hands here. A case was against Janasena MLA Rapaka Varaprasad at Malikipuram Police Station. Earlier, his supporter was arrested by the police on grounds of playing cards.
Taking up cudgels on behalf of his supporter, the MLA reportedly had a run-in with the local Sub-Inspector, Rama Rao. In his support Jana Sena Party workers went on a protest against the police. They did not stop at that. The Janasena Party workers took law into their hands, attacked and smashed the windows of the police station.
