TDP MLAs Demand Bribe For Every Project: GVL

Delhi: BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao lambasted Andhra Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Talking to the media in Delhi he said "The Union govt has given the highest amount of funds to the state responding to disasters. In the past, a total of Rs 2200 crores were granted to the state." He demanded that the TDP government release the details of how the amount was spent. He added "Chandrababu Naidu is not keen on administration and is spreading falsehoods about BJP." GVL said Chandrababu was not part of the alliance anymore but Rs 559 crores were granted to the state as a relief fund when Titli occurred.

Later GVL added: TDP leaders are writing records according to their whims and fancies. In reality, they are distributing that money among TDP supporters." He also demanded TDP to release a list of beneficiaries. Referring to the TDP MLAs he said, they were demanding bribes for every project. He added that Chandrababu should release a list of beneficiaries of the funds and should prove his innocence. In another instance, he said AP had received Rs 1247 crores till now as part of state disaster fund. TDP is going to suffer the same fate as in Telangana.
