Amateur’s Horse Ride In Old City Kills Man

Hyderabad: A man was killed by a horse during a horse riding competition held on the main road in Mailardevpally police station limits in Hyderabad on Sunday night. One of the horses hit Hamid Shah who was walking on the road killing him on the spot. The horse also shoved away Khaja, who suffered serious injuries. The family members of the victims lodged a complaint with the police and they also expressed anger over organizing horse riding competitions on road. The police took horse rider Sohail and the horse into custody.

Police said the accused is not an expert rider and could not control the horse resulting in the death of a passerby. Investigation is on.
