Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Sakshi Post

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did not commit or attempt suicide and her marital life is perfectly fine, this was proved by several news channels in Mumbai after a thorough investigation.

Over the past several days, social media including WhatsApp and YouTube were flooded with alleged video clips of Aishwarya Rai on hospital bed following her attempt to commit suicide. The videos also stated that she consumed sleeping pills to end her life. Some video messages went to the extent of stating that her marital is in on the downward spiral following her role in the film 'ae dil hai mushkil'.

However, the Bachchan family was quick to deny the allegations and termed the video clippings as fake. They also denied that there was any rift between Aishwarya and Abhishek. Several Mumbai-based news channels also confirmed that the video on social media was fake and was created by rumour-mongers.

On the positive side, however, the fake news shot up the searches for Aishwarya on YouTube and Google. She was one of the most searched personalities of both the websites in recent times. Interestingly, she is not the first celebrity to be killed by rumours. Dev Anand, Shashi Kapoor and Aarthi Agarwal were also killed by such rumours only to be resurrected by thorough investigations.
