Telangana ‘Group 2’ Exam To Be Descriptive

Hyderabad: Telangana Group 2 exam will be descriptive in place of objective. The state government took the decision to assess the applicants capabilities, adding that, this format bring out genuine talented lot.
An official affirming the move said, "Objective format alone is not enough to test the skills of the candidates. Hence, it was decided to introduce the descriptive part which will test the expressive and writing abilities of the candidates."
The official added the persons holding Group 2 post are at the helm and hence needs to be proactive with swift decision making.

One of the coaching experts welcomed the move and felt that cognitive, affective and psychomotor, three domains of learning can be gauged with this format.
In the objective format, candidates needed to select an answer from the multiple choices provided in the question paper. However in the descriptive paper, the candidates are required to study the subject in detail assessing candidate’s analytical abilities, knowledge and command over different subjects.
