3 Of Hyderabad Family Die In UP Road Accident

Hyderabad: Three members of a family from city were killed and five children sustained injuries in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh after the family went for a pilgrimage on Saturday.

The deceased identified as Nutaan Bai, Padma Bai and Vikas Singh were the residents of Dhoolpet in the city. The family on Saturday boarded a train to Varanasi from Secunderabad railway station. They had visited Kashivishwanath temple and other two temples in Varnasi. On Tuesday the family hired a Tata Sumo and were heading to Ayodhya temple in Uttar Pradesh.

According to police, the mishap occurred when the Tata Sumo they were traveling in hit a DCM truck near Sultanpur. Three members of the family died on the spot. The five children who were sitting in the rear seat of the vehicle sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Uttar Pradesh.

The police registered a case and are trying to bring the bodies to the city on Wednesday.
