3 die as car, bike plunge down from railway overbridge in Alwal

In a shocking incident, a car and a bike fell down from the railway overbridge in Alwal area of Hyderabad in the wee hours of Tuesday. Three persons - two travelling in the car and the bike rider - died on the spot. Seven persons were injured in the incident. 

According to sources, the accident occured when car drier Krishnamacharya tried to avoid hitting bike-rider Shakti Singh, who was on the wrong side of the road. In this attempt, the car rammed into the bike and fell down from the railway bridge killing Krishnamacharya and a woman, identified as Kamalini, died on the spot. The bike too fell down, killing Shakti Singh.
The bodies have been shifted to the mortuary in the Gandhi Hospital, while the injured have been rushed to the Tirumalagiri Hospital.
