1-Year-Old Boy Kidnapped In Front Of Tirumala Temple 

Tirupati: A one-year-old boy was kidnapped right in front of the main temple in Tirumala on Wednesday morning. Chennakesava, the son of a poor couple from Saipuram in Anantapur district was abducted by a person when his mother was still asleep in the early hours.

The entire kidnap incident was caught on a CCTV and the police swung into action to nab the kidnappers.

A man in a pair of jeans and a white full-sleeved shirt picked the boy from the place where Venkatesh, his wife and their three other kids were sleeping and walked away from the spot. A woman who was waiting nearby later joined the kidnapper and took the child into her arms. She was wearing a pink colored Punjabi dress. The woman carried the kid on her shoulder and covered him with her chunni as the man carried their baggage.

The police after examining the CCTV footage launched a manhunt in major centers in the town and also in the neighboring districts. The inspector said the kidnappers would be nabbed very soon and hoped that the kid would be safe.
