YSRCP wants Government to act fast on free power

YSRCP MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy asked the state government as to when it would implement the promise of nine-hour free power supply to the farm sector.

Raising the issue of TDP's electoral promise, he said it is not right to provide free power in phases. He demanded the government to fulfill its election promise of free power immediately.

Peddireddy also raised the issue of frequent power cuts in the state.

Replying to the question, the minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy said that the government would provide nine-hour free power to farmers in phases. “Uninterrupted power supply will be provided to the domestic connections from October 2,” said the minister.
