YSRCP leader dies in road accident

Angotu Krishna Rao,YSRCP leader and a former Sarpanch of Karivarigudem in Khammam district, died in a road accident on Thursday evening.

The incident took place in Tallada-Kottagudem main road and under Julurupadu police station limits.

As per the police, the YSRCP leader Krishna Rao was going to Karivarigudem on a motor bike . One vehicle carrying boring equipments hit the bike near the police station.

Krishna Rao died on the spot. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Villagers and YSRCP activists and leaders reached the area.

The body of the leader was sent to Kottagudem Area Hospital for post-mortem. Local police station SI Goutam registered a case and is investigating.
