Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy  - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) strongly condemns AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu's silence on the Pendurthi incident where a woman was stripped and paraded naked for not parting with her land, YSRCP senior leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said.

Addressing the media here on Sunday, he said the chief minister should have taken firm action on the perpertrators of the crime against the lone woman. "On the contrary, all the attackers are said to be Telugu Desam party cadres. The CM did not pull-up his own men on the incident nor did he assure any compensation for the woman," Ramakrishna Reddy said.

Law and order are non-existent and democratic values are being trampled upon by the TDP since four years, Ramakrishna Reddy said. He added that the state government has become synonymous with corruption right from the chief minister down to the village secretaries. Such a government cannot provide any welfare measures to the people, he said and added that there is every need to oust the TDP government in the Assembly elections.
