YSRCP activist attacked by TDP workers, dies

A YSR Congress activist, Manayya was killed when he was allegedly attacked by TDP members in Nelagangavaram of Vinukonda in Guntur district on Wednesday.

According to reports, some TDP members allegedly hit Manayya with sticks and stones at his home for not working in favour of their party. 

The attack took place  in the morning and Manayya  was soon admitted into the hospital with serious injuries. 

He succumbed to his injuries later in the evening while undergoing treatment. The YSRCP leaders demanded that police take stringent actions against the culprit. 

Clashes between the cadres of the two parties were reported in many places including Tirupati. 

On the other hand, the TDP men attacked YSRCP activist Babu in Tirupati and he lodged complaint with Alipiri police.
