YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led a party delegation to Governor to raise strong objection to making YSRCP renegade MLAs, against whom petitions have already been filed with the Speaker of AP Assembly, ministers of the AP Cabinet in the latest reshuffle.

"Is this democracy? Isn't this against what Chandrababu himself said when his MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav was made a minister in TRS Government in neighbouring Telangana? He called it a political prostitution," YS Jagan said.

YS Jagan submitted a memorandum to the Governor, the copy of which was released to the media also. Party MP YV Subba Reddy, senior leader Meruga Nagarjuna and others accompanied YS Jagan.

"Instead of disqualifying the defectors, they are made ministers by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with the connivance of Speaker and the Governor approved their decision by administering oath to them," YS Jagan said while talking to the mediapersons outside Raj Bhavan. He also said the Governmor, the constitutional head of the State, should take steps to protect democracy. He said the ruling TDP was misusing the speaker's position to delay the disqualification of the turncoat MLAs.

He said his fight will not stop here and added he would seek an appointment with the President of India to highlight the gross misdemeanor.
