YS Jagan Demands Immediate Relief For Farmers 

Anantapur: YSC Congress Party chief and Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday lambasted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over his irresponsible mismanagement of drought situation in the state.

Addressing a mammoth gathering of people at the Mahadharna staged in Anantapur in support of farming community, YS Jagan said Chandrababu is enjoying by roaming in helicopter while people are dying of drought and crop losses.

YS Jagan said over 17.52 lakh acres crops were lost due to drought, but the chief minister was claiming there was no drought at all. The rainguns used for wetting the lands in Anantapur district were not enough to make the farm lands cultivable, he said.
