YS Jagan calls on hospitalised Roja at NIMS

Hyderabad: YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Nagari MLA Roja on Saturday at NIMS hospital.

YSRCP MLA Roja was shifted to NIMS after she was injured in a scuffle while trying to enter the YSRCP office in the Assembly complex. Roja was suspended for one year by Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad on Friday.

Speaking to media, the YSRCP Chief said that the MLA’s condition is getting better. He said that her blood pressure levels were 180/100 when she was shifted to the hospital and that she is currently undergoing treatment. It is reported that Roja was in the hospitalised for the same problem for nine days prior to the winter session of the AP legislative assembly in Chittoor district.

“Ms. Roja was earlier hospitalised, how can she be arrested in when she is unwell?,” YS Jagan questioned while speaking in the Assembly.

It is reported that the police had not shifted her to the hospital even after she lost consciousness. An ambulance was called and the MLA was finally shifted to NIMS following protests by YSRCP leaders.
