Youth Stabs Lover After Recording Her Conversation With Another Man Over Phone 

Kakinada: A youth stabbed his lover leaving her seriously injured after he recorded her conversation with another man over mobile phone at Elvinpet in Kakinada, East Godavari district of AP, on Monday morning.

The youth Chandrasekhar after being arrested by police said he heard the recorded conversation by his lover Dhanalakshmi with another man. Chandrasekhar and Dhanalakshmi were living together for some time.

Police said the accused stabbed the woman 17 times and she is undergoing treatment in a critical condition. The accused is also undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the incident.

A case of attempt to murder under Section 306 IPC has been booked on the youth and he is kept in remand, One Town CI PS Rao said.
