Youth Commits Suicide During Live Video Chat With Girlfriend

Hyderabad: A youth committed suicide during a live video chat with his girlfriend, in Vinayak Nagar of Malkajgiri, on Thursday morning.

According to police, the youth Ajmer Sagar (20), was living with his sister in Vinayak Nagar. He was in a relationship with a girl, which the relatives of both the families were opposed to. Also, Sagar's family members were on the lookout for marriage alliances for him. This, further, sent the youth into depression. Following the rejection by their respective families, the couple used to quarrel often. In this regard, the girl is said to have sent a WhatsApp message to Sagar stating, 'only in his death she will be happy'. On Thursday, Sagar sent a message to her to video call him and see him die. In the belief that it was a prank call from him, she called only to witness Sagar hang himself from the ceiling fan and die.
