Woman Stages a Sit-In For Release Of Lover From His Parents’ Custody 

Khammam: A 27-year-old woman belonging to Manchuposugudem village of Mulakapally mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district started a protest at her lover's house in Seetampet Banjara village demanding the release of the man who was kept in a secret place by his parents.

Boda Rajamma had been in a relationship with Lavudya Venkateshwarlu since 2010 when she was pursuing her degree studies in Khammam. He promised to marry her but his family was not in favor of their marriage. He was working as a security guard in Nellore. As the couple was getting ready for marriage, Venkateshwarlu‘s parents picked him up from his workplace and confined him to a hide-out for over a week now.

Rajamma started her indefinite protest vowing to continue it till Venkateshwarlu--the love of her life--is released by his parents or police intervene and get him out of their confinement. Meanwhile, the man's family is absconding and the house is locked.
