Woman Attacks Watchman, Tries To Escape Police 

Hyderabad: A woman living in a flat in an apartment in Vivekananda Nagar under Kukatpally attacked the watchman with a knife at midnight on Saturday. When the other residents of the apartment called the police, she ran away to escape the arrest.

The woman, daughter of a retired sub-inspector of police, lives with parents and a sister in flat No. 302 of Sai Bharadwaj Apartments. Neighbors complained that she behaves like a psycho every now and then and attacks watchmen. On Saturday night, neighbors told the watchman that some noise is coming from the flat. Watchman Bisaiah went upstairs to check what is happening. Suddenly, the woman overpowered the watchman and attacked him with a knife.

While panic-stricken Bisaiah ran for life, the woman's sister poured water on a CCTV which was positioned straight towards their flat. Police rushed the watchman to a private hospital where he is recovering. A case of nuisance has been filed against the woman and she was arrested finally, police said.
