* He decries invoking of PD Act against the youth participating in the Yuva Bheris.

* The police are being misused in the worst possible manner, says YS Jagan

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly decried Chandrababu Naidu Government's hideous ways to crush the candle light protests and said he would personally participate in the candle light rally at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam on January 26 night. "Arrest me if you want. But our fight will go on," YS Jagan thundered.

Addressing mediapersons at Hyderabad on Wednesday, YS Jagan slammed the reign of repression unleashed by the TDP Government on the people fighting for Special State Status for the state. He said the TDP Government was trying to misuse the police in the worst possible manner.

Where are incentives to the industry and where are the exemptions from Income Tax and excise duty? Industries do not come on the face value of Chandrababu Naidu. They would come on the basis of the incentives offered under the provisions of the Special Category Status

Stating that only Special Category Status will solve the problems of the state, he said special package was no substitute to the the Status. He said Chandrababu was lying through his teeth when he says that the special package provides all the benefits that the Special Category Status was supposed to give. “Where are incentives to the industry and where are the exemptions from Income Tax and excise duty? Industries do not come on the face value of Chandrababu Naidu. They would come on the basis of the incentives offered under the provisions of the Special Category Status," YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

He also strongly decried the TDP Government's attempts to book cases under PD Act against the youth who are participating in the Yuva Bheri programmes organised to mobilise the people in favour of Special Category Status.
