Wife Divorces Jobless Husband For Charging Her Car Rides

In a strange situation, a woman from Saudi has filed for divorce as her jobless husband charged her for the ride he gave to her. The woman who doesn’t own her vehicle is said to be dependent on her husband to commute from home to her workplace.

The first time he dropped her he asked for 500 dirhams (£100). She reluctantly gave him the amount as it was a first ride and took it in an amusement. However, the man continued the same tactic repeatedly. The woman when question him, he unabashedly said that the chauffeuring he does makes him stay away from his friends and reduced his socializing time. The woman who got vexed of this, last month filed for a divorce.

In a similar case, a daily reported, “ In January of 1997, a California woman filed for divorce after 25 years of what her husband believed had been a happy marriage.
