Why is Chiru running away to Karnataka?

Why is Chiru running away to Karnataka? - Sakshi Post

First he threw his weight around Telangana, then he said he wanted an united Andhra. When he realised that the division was inevitable he requested the Centre to grant union territory status for Hyderabad. When the process for bifurcation started, he wanted to protect the rights of Seemandhra people. However, after the division, when all Seemandhra union ministers decided to quit, he showed his loyalty to Congress high command.

Chiranjeevi, the superstar, is now facing tough time now in his political career due to his constant u-turns.  On one side his brother Pawan Kalyan is all set to launch a new political outfit and  on the other hand, Congress will be facing grim elections in Semandhra region.

In the present scenario, Chiranjeevi cannot dare to contest from Telangana. And with Congress's diminished political clout in Seemandhra, he might not even get deposits in Seemandhra if he contested.  (Chiru: A reel hero, not real hero)

He can't even quit Congress, as that will kill his dreams of being the CM.

To escape the wrath of the public, Chiranjeevi has decided to contest from Chikballapur, near Bangalore, Karnataka, which has a large number of Telugu population.

According to reports, Chiranjeevi has got green signal from Congress for this.  Earlier, the actor had campaigned in Karnataka constituencies for Congress candidates and was proven to be the star campaigner.  (Will Chiranjeevi pass the exam?)

Also, Chikkaballapur is dominated by the Balija community and the actor belongs to the same community.

Giving credence to the rumours, the Congress high command released its first list of candidates and it had the names of all sitting MPs from Karnataka except Chikkaballapur MP and Petroleum minister M Veerappa Moily.
