Voter commits suicide after police beat him

One person committed suicide being unable to bear the distress that some police personnel beat him up.

The incident took place at Seshampalli village in Maldakal mandal in Mahbubnagar district.

One Jayanna came to the polling station to cast his vote. But, his name was not there in the voters list. Some police constables beat him up when Jayanna entered into a heated argument with the officials at the polling booth on the same.

Unable to bear the distress, he committed suicide.
