Veteran South Actress Krishna Kumari No More

Yesteryear actress Krishna Kumari who was battling Cancer breathed her last today in Bengaluru. The actress was born in West Bengal on March 3, 1933. She is, is survived by
a daughter Dipika.
A couple of months ago, she was admitted to Apollo hospital and underwent Chemotherapy in 2017. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Navvithe Navaratnalu in 1951. She has acted in all the South Indian languages in about 110 movies.
The late actress was a top actress in 1960 and the 50s and was paired opposite
established stars ANR, NTR, Sivaji Ganesan and Kanta Rao. She was married to Ajay Mohan Khaitan, a journalist and founder of Screen magazine.
