Varanasi is a sacred pilgrim hotspot for Hindus. It is also one of the oldest Indian cities located where the holy River Ganga flows in all abundance.

Tourists who throng the pilgrim town never consider their trip complete without enjoying the Ganga Arathi held on the banks of the holy River which is a sight to behold.

Ganga aarti takes place at 6.45 PM in the evening after the sunset for around 45 minutes at the Dashashwamedh ghat in the Varanasi. Devotees reach the place an hour before the spectacle starts.

It seems like other devotees, Mana Telugu star Pawan Kalyan too waited for the sunset for Ganga Aarathi.

Pawan Kalyan and the film unit are currently in Varanasi to shoot the climax of his upcoming film Agnyaathavaasi. Recently, the makers of the movie released the first look poster from the movie, which created hype and expectations about the film.

Agnyaathavaasi helmed by Trivikram Srinivas also stars Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel in key roles.
