Uttam Kumar Reddy Lambasts KCR’s Plenary Address

TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committe (TPCC) President Uttam Kumar Reddy lambasted the state Chief Minister K Chandrashaker Rao for his address at the TRS Plenary yesterday. Speaking to media here today, TPCC Chief said that KCR's speech represented his arrogance that he is only great person in Telangana while he made unnecessary comments on opposition parties and Telangana movement supporters.

Uttam Kumar Reddy strongly objected to KCR's personal remarks on him and said he was proud to have worked at borders as a pilot for war planes. He said that it was his personal choice to come into politics and serve people. "It is not fair on Telangana CM to make comments on personal lives. I and my wife have dedicated our lives to public service, on the other hand KCR's family was looting the state."

He called upon KCR to mind his words about opposition. He questioned the TRS Chief's decision to construct Paragathi Bhavan at the cost of Rs 60 crores. Telangana CM could as well use the Camp Office, what was need for Pragathi Bhavan, he asked. "Being in responsible position, he shouldn't be misusing the public amount for his luxury."

The TPCC President said it was the duty of the Opposition to question the misuse of public money. He alleged that KCR was looting the government money and was encouraging brokers, contractors and middlemen. "Only those go to Pragathi Bhavan, while the common man doesn't have entry into it. Even the TRS MLAs do not have entry." It was only because of Sonia Gandhi that separate Telangana state was formed, he reminded the TRS President.

Uttam Kumar Reddy taking a dig at proposed Federal Front, said that it was better KCR understands the state and its issues better, later he could think about national politics. He demanded an apology from TRS Chief for his statements at the party's Plenary. People will teach TRS a lesson in the coming elections, he added.
