UN Diplomat Eenam Gambhir’s iPhone Stolen By Bike-Borne Snatchers

New Delhi: Remember the name - Eenam Gambhir? The first Secretary at India's UN Mission became an instant celebrity after she gave a strong response to Pakistan's charges against India in the General Assembly in September this year. The expressions she used to describe Pakistan, "Terroristan" found its way into the media and turned her into an instant celebrity all over the country. On her current visit to India, Gambhir fell victim to bike-borne snatchers who took away her iPhone while she was out for a walk near her house in Rohini, Delhi on Saturday night.
Two unidentified men pretended to ask her directions and made away with her phone which had a SIM card registered in the US in addition to office documents. Police are investigating the incident involving the high-profile 34 year-old Indian Foreign Service officer.
