KCR ditches road, to take chopper during campaigning - Sakshi Post

TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao is all set to modernise the way election campaigning runs in the state. National parties investing in choppers during elections, is the norm, but very rarely does a state leader opt for them. However, KCR is going to set a new precedent.

According to reports, KCR has hired a chopper to cover as much ground as possible for his election campaign.  The helicopter has already reached his farmhouse in Medak.

Sources in TRS say that he has hired the helicopter till April 28. They also add that KCR turned his farmhouse into mini party office and will make all the tours to villages and town from the farmhouse.

Reportedly, following the guidelines of election campaign, KCR will submit the details of the chopper travel to the EC’s office in a day or two.

With the elections around the corner, demands for helicopters have soared.

It is learnt that a single-engine helicopter costs anywhere between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 per hour, and double engine cost will be doubled.
